Giant addition to the UNSW/ES Bulldogs Coaching Panel

Marc Dragicevic to pair up with ex-teammate, Steven Pollock, in the red, white and blue.

The UNSW/ES Bulldogs are delighted to announce tenured coach and player, Marc Dragicevic, will join the club as the Premier Division Assistant Coach.

In a massive coup for the club, the former Richmond player will bring a wealth of experience and endeavor that will be invaluable to the playing group.

Dragicevic is looking forward to working closely with head coach and ex-teammate Steven Pollock on the development of an outstanding group of talented juniors and long term club men at UNSW/ES.

“Marc is a fantastic experienced addition to our coaching ranks and underpins the club’s commitment to developing our junior pathway program to Premier Division level within the Sydney AFL competition”, said Club President, Stephen Dunkley, in announcing the appointment.

“Having been involved in the game for nearly 20 years as both an elite player and a senior coach, he will offer us a level of professionalism and experience across the board”

“Given he is also the Assistant Coach of the GWS Giants Women’s AFL team, which features four of our talented Stingrays players, he’ll also be a terrific mentor for our women as they look to defend their premiership in 2016”

Bulldogs and Stingrays players and Club Executives will welcome Dragicevic down at training this Wednesday, 1 February at David Phillips Oval.

About Marc –

Marc Dragicevic has been involved in the game for 19 years and played 48 games for Richmond between 1999 and 2004.

Originally from North Geelong, Dragicevic played for Geelong Falcons before being drafted by Richmond.

He was a Victorian representative in 1996, 1997 and 1998, and Under-18 All Australian in 1998 and an AFL Rising Star nominee in 1999.

Dragicevic was a runner up Best and Fairest at West Adelaide in the SANFL in 2005, 2006 and 2007.

He was a playing Assistant Coach/Captain at St Albans in the Geelong Football League from 2009-2011 before joining the Tuggeranong Football Club in Canberra.

He was a Senior Assistant coach and then promoted to Senior Coach of the NEAFL side in 2012 as well as being a GIANTS Academy coach from 2012-2014.

Dragicevic joined the Sydney Hills Eagles as NEAFL Senior Coach in 2013 and 2014 before heading up the Randwick Saints in 2015 and 2016.
