What brought you to the club and why do you like it?
I was a Maroubra junior and had a bit to do the club as I was coming through the age groups. I just loved everything about the club and the people here.
What are your personal goals for the 2017 season?
For me this year is about consistency. Having been able to string a solid pre season together I’m looking forward to trying to perform well week in and week out and set an example for the young kids coming through.
Greatest moment in the red, white and blue?
Probably winning the 2s best and fairest in 2013 when we made the grand final. From a personal and a club point of view it was a good year.
Favourite team mate and why?
Jack McAnespie. The bloke loves giving a spray but holds everyone accountable on and off the track. He’s turned into a real leader at the club and is set for a big 2017.
Which team mate is most likely to disappear when it’s his shout?
Joel Robbie. At our extra Saturday morning sessions he runs to training and that of course means he doesn’t have a wallet on him. Spends all his money on chess and quiet nights in.
What is your message to the Bulldog supporters this year?
Stick with us. The club has made some massive changes in 2016 and building into 2017. It might not happen straight away but we now have the right people in the right places, a passionate player base and an incredibly strong junior pathway. The club is looking forward to big things across our men’s, women’s and junior teams in 2017 and beyond.
