Men’s Premier Division and Premier Reserves
In 2021, we are proud to be fielding both Men’s Premier Division and Premier Reserves teams in the Premier Division competition of AFL Sydney.
Both teams are looking forward to replicating their past successes, with our Men’s Premier Division side taking out back-to-back premierships in 2018 and 2019, and coming runner-up in 2020. Our Premier Reserves team competed deep into the finals series in both the 2018 and 2019 seasons, and their determination awarded them the premiership in 2020.
MEN’S PREMIER DIVISION COACH – Dean Towers
The UNSW-ES Bulldogs are delighted to announce that former Sydney Swan Dean Towers will continue his 2019 and 2020 role as Men’s Head Coach and Premier Division player in the 2021 season.
After playing 57 games at AFL level for the Swans, Towers in now completing his degree in Exercise Physiology at UNSW, and is excited to continue his success and involvement with the Bulldogs.
This year, Towers is focused on improving from last year’s defeat against Sydney Uni, while nurturing some of the upcoming young talent from our junior pathways, and sharing his experiences as an AFL-listed player.
PLEASE NOTE: The UNSW-ES Bulldogs are currently training in-line with AFL Sydney’s Return to Contact Training Protocols in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. More information on these protocols can be found here.
Training for both Men’s Premier Division and Premier Reserves is held on Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30pm – 8:00pm at the UNSW David-Phillips South Sports Field. Entry is strictly only from Gate 7 off Cook Avenue, Daceyville, and free parking is available.
